School is just a few weeks away. That means the end hours spent at the pool, vacations, and eating whatever on hand for lunch. It also means the start of packing lunches, buying a few new outfits – and shopping for back to school supplies. Whether you have a young one starting out in preschool, middle school or are a teacher looking for the best deals here are your go-to places.
School Supply List:
From notebooks to pencils, lunchboxes to cute erasers, here’s a rundown to help you know where to go and for what.
Walmart:
Walmart is always a great place to stock up on the necessities.
They are carrying a Crayola Back to School Starter Pack for just $13.99. Not only would this be great for primary grades, but it also includes a decent sized palette of watercolors – perfect for preschool projects. A six pack of skinny colorful dry erase markers also comes with the set – perfect for teachers!
Paper and pencil are still used to take notes even in today’s tech-savvy world. Grab a few packs of college-ruled lined paper for note-taking (and doodling). A 150 sheet pack is $0.82.
Students and teachers both seem to love scented markers. There is just something about writing with a marker that smells like a sweet strawberry that makes school just a tiny bit more fun. You can purchase a 12 count box of Mr. Sketch Scented Markers at Walmart for just $5.84.
Walmart also has your more standard essentials such as 2-hole pencil sharpeners for $0.50, and 1-subject notebooks starting at $0.50, CraZart Crayons ($0.50 for a box of 24), and Elmer’s Purple Glue Sticks at $0.50.
